mugen.cat is the personal keyboard site of MUGEN (@mugen.kbd), run by one person. This page explains the little data the site and the keycap set pages handle, in plain words.
The contact forms
If you use the forms on the contact page, I receive what you type in them together with your email address. I use it for one thing only: reading your message and getting back to you. It is stored privately, never shared with or sold to anyone, and deleted once it is no longer needed. If you want a message you sent removed, write to @mugen.kbd and it is gone.
Interest checks
Keycap sets I design open with an interest check: a form on the set’s page (for example mugen.cat/projects/zoltraak/ic). It asks which kits you would buy, whether you would join the group buy, your region, the vendors you would like, and anything you would change or like to see; a name or handle is optional. I use the answers only to plan the set with the manufacturer and the vendors, and only as totals: no individual answer is shared with anyone.
Your email is optional too. If you tick the box to be told when the group buy opens, I keep it for that one message and nothing else. Answers and emails are deleted once that set’s group buy closes. If you want yours removed sooner, write to @mugen.kbd and it is gone.
Browsing the site
There are no analytics or advertising cookies, no trackers and no accounts. The hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard technical server logs. The site’s typefaces are served from mugen.cat itself, so loading a page requests nothing from Google.
Links to Instagram, YouTube or Twitch take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.
